Getting there

COME AND
EXPLORE

Are you planning your next MTB adventure and would like easy, stress-free travel? Well, let’s go!

You can cruise to the Aletsch Arena by train – chill, climate-friendly and no need for a parking space. Or is that not your thing, because you prefer to take all your biking gear in the car with you? No problem: there’s plenty of parking down in the valley where your car will be safe.

The high-altitude plateau is car-free – but no need to worry: the cable cars will whisk you and your bike to the top in comfort. Relax in the gondola, then unload and rip the trails – ready to shred!

Getting there by train

Jump on the train and head for Valais. You can easily reach all the towns and villages in the Aletsch Arena valley by public transport – ideal if you want a relaxed journey. Whether it’s from Mörel to Riederalp, from Bettmeralp valley station to Bettmeralp or from Fiesch to Fiescheralp, there are feeder lifts to take you to the top all year round. And best of all: they’re part of the GA and half-fare travelcard network – nice for anyone travelling by train. Real easy.

Public transport and cable cars for MTBs

We’ve put together some tips to help you plan your travel by public transport with your mountain bike.
