Yes – if you ride frequently in summer, we recommend the Upper Valais Bike Pass. It’s also available as a season pass and is valid across five bike destinations in the Upper Valais: Aletsch Arena, Bellwald, Blatten-Belalp, Grächen, and Saas-Grund. This gives you the flexibility to explore trails all summer long.

It’s handy to have a GA Travelcard when you’re out and about in the Aletsch Arena, as it covers the valley feeder services (Mörel–Riederalp, Bettmeralp valley station–Bettmeralp, Fiesch–Fiescheralp). For the cable cars to the top (Moosfluh and Bettmerhorn gondola lifts and Wurzenbord chairlift), you can get the Aletsch Bike Pass, which is cheaper for GA Travelcard holders.

The Aletsch Bike Pass covers many of the cable cars and lifts in the Aletsch Arena. The valley feeder services (Mörel–Riederalp, Bettmeralp valley station–Bettmeralp, Fiesch–Fiescheralp) are included, as are the Moosfluh and Bettmerhorn gondola lifts and the Wurzenbord chairlift. Plus bike transport on the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway (Brig–Mörel–Bettmeralp valley station–Lax–Fiesch–Fürgangen).

Yes, that’s no problem. If you already have a pass for yourself, you can buy a separate bike transport ticket – either for a single journey or as a day flat rate. The bike transport ticket is valid on all valley feeder routes (Mörel–Riederalp, Bettmeralp valley station–Bettmeralp, Fiesch–Fiescheralp), as well as on the Moosfluh & Bettmerhorn gondola lifts and Wurzenbord chairlift. That way you are flexible when out and about on your bike – regardless of which ticket you have for yourself.
