  • Emergency number 144 – for all medical emergencies

  • WHERE did the accident happen?

  • WHO is the caller?

  • WHAT is the caller’s number?

  • WHAT exactly happened?

  • WHEN did the accident happen?

  • HOW MANY people were involved?

  • OTHER INFORMATION Are there any particular hazards, such as petrol or electricity? Has the accident scene been secured?

  • If you call the emergency number 144, don’t hang up until they’ve confirmed that they’ve understood you.
