- Start: Moosfluh
- Destination: Mörel
It starts at the Moosfluh Enduro Trail high above the Aletsch Plateau at the Moosfluh viewpoint with a beautiful view of the Great Aletsch Glacier. The trail runs as a flowing, rather easy singletrail along the ridge. Attention: Particularly popular with hikers – so start early or share fairly.
Shortly before Biel, the line of the Moosfluh Enduro Trail turns towards Blausee – now it gets faster. A few short uphill sections will keep you on your toes.
From Blausee, it goes into the new Blausee Trail (open from about September 2025): with steep wall curves, jumps and creative elements – ideal for shredding to Riederalp.
After a short detour through the village, the technical highlight of this Aletsch Enduro Trail awaits: The natural downhill ride towards Mörel. Steep, rocky, rooty – difficulty level “red” and not for beginners. In Goppisberg, a short stop in the old village center is worthwhile (snack station in the self-service restaurant). Then continue through forest and meadows until the last meters of asphalt take you to Mörel. From there: train in – the next Aletsch Enduro Trail awaits.
Highlights:
- Start with glacier panorama in the Aletsch Arena
- Curvy, flowing trail section at Blausee
- Technical forest descent with local vibes
- Refreshment option in Goppisberg
- Lots of elevation meters
Trail signage: Follow the red signposts with white biker symbol and the black sticker with the abbreviation MOT – which stands for Moosfluh Enduro Trail.
Note: At the trail entry and when switching between different difficulty levels, the corresponding difficulty is marked.
Important: Respect hikers and nature in the Aletsch Arena – ride with attitude.

Author´s Tip / Recommendation of the author
Insider tips:
- Bypass when busy: Start via Sparrhorn / Stoneman Uphill (left from Moosfluh) and later join the Moosfluh Enduro Trail.
- Split tip: Upper section to Riederalp = easier & weather-independent. Lower section = more technical & rewarding in dry conditions.
- The lower section between Riederalp and Mörel (or from Goppisberg) can already be ridden in spring. Ideal for an early season start with elevation meters.
